We participate in the CACFP, which visits us several times yearly to ensure we meet the food requirements and provide children with healthy and nutritious meals and snacks daily. We provide all meals and snacks and have a set time for these to be given. Children will learn good table manners, how to set the table, serve themselves, eat family style, engage in pleasant conversation, clean up after eating, and brush their teeth when finished. The children will learn good eating habits and good hygiene, which are vital for their brain development, building immunity, having a healthy weight, skin, teeth, and eyes, and good food equals a good mood.
